Tender Somatics

Somatic + Creative Coaching

be softer with you.

you are a breathing thing.

a memory to someone.

a home to a life.

Why Tender Somatics?

We are made of many tender parts, all working together to guide us through the complexities of life. These parts are shaped within a landscape of identity, family, community, culture, class, and countless other influences. These forces leave their marks and memories within us, forming our somatic patterns—the ways our bodies and minds learn to move, feel, and respond to the world.

Beneath the layers of shaping, conditioning, and experience lies a deep sense of wholeness, waiting to be uncovered and nurtured. Somatic coaching helps you reconnect with this deeper self, offering a gentle yet powerful path toward healing, self-awareness, and freedom.

The name Tender Somatics reflects both the nature of this work and the way it is approached: with care, compassion, and respect for the intricate, tender parts of who we are. It’s about tending to ourselves with gentleness, curiosity, and courage, allowing us to reclaim the fullness of our being.

❖ Reconnecting with your inherent dignity and sense of wholeness.

❖ Unearthing creative dreams and embracing a more embodied, authentic expression of who you are.

❖ Honoring your creative unfurling and being present to your life’s unfolding.

  • My approach to somatic coaching is rooted in the belief that you are already whole, creative, and deeply resourceful. There is nothing to "fix" — instead, I partner with you to honor and amplify your aliveness, your dreams, and your inherent potential.

This work is holistic, embracing every part of you as valuable. We approach your reactions, behaviors, and patterns as intelligent responses that hold important information. Through somatic practices, we create space for your body’s natural ability to reorganize, heal, and move toward greater vitality and balance. My role is to guide and support you as you reconnect with your body’s wisdom and tap into the fullness of who you are.

Welcome

Hi, I’m Madeline.

I’m a somatic practitioner with a background in education, wilderness guiding, and community engagement and advocacy. I create spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, access their inner wisdom, and transform through connection—to self, others, and the natural world.

I integrate trauma-informed, relational, body-based practices with mindfulness, movement, and creativity to help clients cultivate embodied self-awareness.

Creative expression of self is at the heart of my work. I am particularly passionate about exploring the intersections of body, land, and story, and helping individuals explore, and transform how they experience themselves—and, in turn, the world.

I am based in Sisters, Oregon and I welcome individuals of all identities. I can work with clients through virtual and in-person sessions.

Whether you are seeking to unearth who you want to be, what you want to create, or how you want to relate to the world around you, I am here to walk alongside you.
